    Lightbulb

I mean think of, if I were nightcrawler I would just shave all that blue fur off and see how'd I look, and if I didn't like it...I'd grow it back. Especially with the 3-fingered 2-toed thing he'd look even weirder but that is what we love, eh?

    Wink

Well...Nein. winkThink of it this way: When you shave, usually hair tends to grow back again, but a lot harder and tough (c'mon, gals and gents, we've all had experiences shaving!). Poor Kurt, he'd be so uncomfortable all over when it grows back!! wink

    Red face

Ouch! Oh, no, no, no... Not the fuzzy elf I like! *I* want him fuzzy... wink

Well, think like this, how often does one see shaven furry animals? (The only times I've seen some, are just before a surgery.)

    Wink

I agree with Spats, NC prefers to be true to his real self. Besides, I like mein elf fuzzy. The shaving/waxing wouldn't work.

    **Well maybe he can wax.**
Now what if he applies it wrong? wink He'll be sticky all over, an' then when Mr.Clean comes around again and NC gets to prove that he can do WITHOUT Wolve, he won't be able to move!! An' what about his face off with the Supreme-Pontiff-whatsisname, NC slaps the guy, and gets his hand stuck to the guy's face? Or what if he has to deliver another baby?! Or if he gets stuck in that yoga pose? (Ok, I'll stop ranting here...)

**how often does one see shaven furry animals?**
I'm thinking poodles here...Ach! A blue poodle!?!?! See, now look were you made my mind go, gnahrf! wink

Shaving all that fur would be more trouble than it's worth.

And you just reminded me of that cat I used to see around. Its owners shaved it to look like a lion... they left the head alone and a little tuft of fur on the tip of the tail. Gawd, that was a funny looking cat!

And the waxing would be a bad idea. My cat ate all the hair off her stomach once when she got carpet glue stuck in it. That's kind of like wax and believe me, the hairballs were not pretty. tongue

    Question

NO! NO SHAVED OR WAXED FUZZY ELFS! NO NO NO NO NO!

-Ahem- I like the fuzzy. Most other fans seem to, too. Though I do wonder if (I hope!) Kurt was in one of the X-Men sequels, (Even if he's not in the X-Men 2, maybe he'd be in part 3, if there is a part 3. It seems like a lucrative series) would he just have blue skin instead of peachfuzz? I refuse to entertain the notion that he'd get scales like his supermodel mom. Does anybody know if his skin really IS blue under the fuzz? In X-Men Unlimited #19, (and all the Unlimiteds I have with him, for that matter) when they do a listing of the backgrounds of the cast of characters, they describe him as "The BLUE-SKINNED leader of Excalibur". Should we just chalk this up to the trademark Marvel continuity, or do you think his skin really IS blue beneath the fur?
And oh yes, pet shaving is weird and wrong. Unless you live in a hot climate with a really furry animal. And even then I don't think that they like it. I'm guessing that the person who started this thread is a male, and unaccustomed to the time-comsuming process of shaving large parts of your body, and the horrific itching that is produced as it grows back. "Oh, the horror" is right!
